Humanitarian Services Project:
Benefitting the Gazelle Foundation
Sunday, Oct. 26th
Now in its eighth year, Run for the Water presented by Keller Williams Realty is the second largest road race in central Texas from May-November. The event is solely produced by and benefits the Gazelle Foundation, an Austin-based non-profit improving the lives of citizens of Burundi, Africa, through the building of water systems. Each person who registers to run provides access to clean water for one Burundian for life.
The Westlake Chamber Humanitarian Services Committee will be manning a water stop located on the 10 Mile race course. Our stop will be located on Pecos near Reed Park. We will be filling cups of water and handing them out to runners as they race through our stop at Mile 5.5. Come prepared to work hard, cheer loud, and HAVE FUN with your Chamber family!
