Stress accumulates when we do not employ techniques which the body recognizes as safe ways to lessen the load it carries. In this workshop we will discuss and explore ways to avoid picking up the load of stress we confront in our lives, as well as look always we can let go of the extra psychic weight that stress imposes on our bodies, minds and spirits.
The afternoon will give you the opportunity to release your elementary stress as well as use your breath and the sound of gongs to enhance your efforts and consolidate their effect. You should leave the session with an elevated sense of well-being and a lightness to your step.
Siri Bahadur has been practicing and teaching Kundalini Yoga for over 40 years. His classes feature practical applications of the yoga techniques of this powerful style of practice and employ conscious breath, exercise, music and gong sounds. The intention is to arrive at a space of lightness, serenity in body, mind and spirit that you can then translate into your everyday life. The experience of higher awareness on your mat and in your practice is one thing, but bringing that same space into your everyday life is what the practice is all about.Location:Serasana
