Event Description:All are welcome to St. Michael's Episcopal Church's annual Lenten Speaker Series, which is free and open to the public. This year, our theme is “Grace & Peace.”
Each Sunday evening in Lent (March 9-April 6), we have a contemplative Eucharist worship service, followed by a speaker who will explore the theme from a unique perspective. Our first speaker is the Rev. Kelly Koonce, who will be speaking on "Grace and Grief." He is an Episcopal priest, spiritual director, and grief educator who currently serves as the Interim Associate Vicar at St. Julian of Norwich Episcopal Church in Austin.
After the speaker, all are invited to a homemade meal in our parish hall.
We have children's and youth activities available between 4:45-6:45pm for families attending the event. Pizza and snacks are provided for both age groups.
