At one time or another, almost every business needs to borrow money. Most of us go to a bank, and it works great, but what if it doesn't? What if the bank can't give you a loan? Do you have any other options? Join us at the September Business Builder Lunch, where subject matter expert and owner of ArTex Funding will explain the various options that are available and the pros and cons of each one.
Artie Berne is the owner and founder of ArTex Funding. Artie spent 20 years climbing the corporate ranks, culminating in being promoted to World-Wide VP of Sales for High Tech Fiber Optic Semiconductors companies. Artie’s team specialized in board-mounted laser transmitters/transceivers, photodetectors, and multiplexors for the telecom industry –developing datacom/telecom networks. Subsequently, Artie was hired and mentored by Ellis Aronson of Performance Capital in Houston, Texas. He learned about Invoice Funding (Factoring) and focused on assisting small- to medium-sized companies that had to wait 40 to 70 days to get their invoices paid. Artie decided to go on his own and hang his own shingle in 1999 as ArTex Funding to offer the full catalog of loans against all classes of secured corporate and no asset short to medium-term loans. These loans are typically used by young growing companies or companies that have been in business for a while but are having financial cash flow issues. ArTex Funding funds corporate lines of credit, term loans, factoring, “bridge loans,” unsecured funding, and hard money real estate loans.
