To the Westlake business community,
On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff, I want to extend our appreciation to the countless number of elected officials and paid staff in both the government and the healthcare industries for their leadership through this novel situation.
I would also like to thank our members for being an investor in the Westlake Chamber of Commerce. Because of your membership investment, your business has access to exclusive marketing and networking opportunities to grow your business and build your brand, while also supporting the Chamber’s work to strengthen the greater Westlake community. During the ongoing COVID 19 crisis, many of our member businesses and nonprofits have experienced significant hardships, due to lost customers, revenues and future opportunities. Simply put: this public health crisis has become an economic crisis for many businesses and nonprofits.
The Westlake Chamber will continue to monitor and distribute information on government resources, programs and public health developments during this fluid situation. Please take advantage of links provided here to access information on the CARES Act, SBA programs, unemployment laws and much more.
During the stay-at-home mandate, the Westlake Chamber will continue to be active, responsive and available by phone, text or email. Also, we have re-worked our monthly events to virtual networking meetings, webinars and stay-at-home social mixers. I encourage you to continue your education and networking by registering for these FREE events on the Chamber calendar HERE:Now, more than ever, the Westlake community needs its Chamber and our business community to step up and make the investments, and the sacrifices, needed to help our families and friends who are hurting the most. Together, we will endure this crisis and, I am confident, emerge on the other side better and stronger than ever before, because of how we respond in support of our neighbors today.
