The Role of Social Good in the Workplace
As the economy opens and businesses return to normal practices of operations, many business owners are running into issues obtaining a full staff and staff retention. What if I told you that you can strengthen your company from the inside, by helping on the outside? That you can grow your company by giving to others? Or that you can enhance your brand image by utilizing your employees as ambassadors?
Brittany Golden is the Associate Director of Development at Austin Child Guidance Center. In addition to assisting with major gifts, community events, and grant funding, she is the lead contact to all corporate partners and lead project manager for three of the Center’s largest annual campaigns.
Brittany earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Austin with a focus on working with at-risk and vulnerable populations. She has previously facilitated group therapy with a focus on mind health for elderly diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, anger management with incarcerated youth, and social skills for young children.
She is passionate about her work at ACGC, ensuring children and teens have access to quality mental health care regardless of their family’s ability to afford the services. She believes when we prioritize mental health in the family unit, the positive outcomes are exponential and reach far beyond the individual family.
